About Lisa
Her mom will tell you Lisa was born with a pencil in her hand. That may be why she was in labor with her for 50 hours. In 1975, in the small town of Princeton, British Columbia, only three blocks from her first home, she was born. Lisa's been doodling and designing ever since.
My love of beads started in sixth grade when I discovered friendship pins. Within a couple years I was showering my friends with my version of 1960’s love beads. At my 10 year high school reunion one friend confessed to still owning every necklace I ever made her.
Travelling to new cities always involves a visit to the local bead shop. Some people check out the local record store—Lisa’s music is in the color and light in beads.
Whether she’s being seduced by the way light plays on a figure and into her camera, designing invitations for a friend’s birthday party, or discovering new ways to mix beads she’s collected from her travels, Lisa strives to refine her eye and nurture a sense of beauty.
